CHILDREN'S BOOKS

As I am sitting here in the beautiful downtown bookstore known as the BookWorm, I am trying to come up with an idea for a children's book! There are so many out there how could one possibly come up with an original idea?!? Well, I think Shawna could! Shawna, you would be a great children's book author, you have such a great imagination and you are well-versed. I really think you should try it out! We would have you in for a book signing and it would be such a grand adventure! So quit messing with this blog and get busy!!!!! P.S. my mom said you can't do it! Prove her wrong! I think she was kidding but you never know about her!
We are having Author Cheri Halwood in for a signing on August 18th. She writes childrens books, we had her in for her first book WINTER'S FIRST SNOWFLAKE and now she is coming in to sign her new book THE CURIOUS POLKA~DOT PRESENT. Of course the key to any good children's book are the illustrations. One would have to find a good artist, do you know any?
I hope everyone has a wonderful day, God Bless Shannon

I've always wanted to write a children's book. I was thinking about it the other day and I have some ideas but nothing written down yet. Well when I finish I do my exclusive signing at The Bookworm. Shannon, are you an artist?

Have you seen the movie Ms. Potter? It's about Beatrix Potter and the Peter Rabbit books. It's really kind of a cute story. You should watch it.

Do you have a website for the store? Have you every thought of getting one?

Love you and miss you

As of yet, we do not have a website. Todd is working on one(I think) since I have no clue when it comes to technology! Mom is going to put some pictures up of the store!
I haven't seen the movie yet, but we do have her books in the store! They are so cute!
I am certainly not an artist, but we have a few in the family! Todd, Caleb, and Jenny's husband Mike are all extremely good at drawing~Abby is getting there too!
Send me some of your ideas sometime I would love to hear what you've got!
Love ya, Shannon

How funny! I went to your website, and I think it is lovely! Do you get a lot of business?
I wish I knew how to make our web site, it would probably keep us a little busier during the day, which would be good considering today, I am quite bored! Now I think I might rearrange the store:)
Love ya

Shannon that is a great idea, I know Shawna could do it, she has been wanting to write a country music song, she could do that to, and you guys could sell her cd in your book store and have a signing for it too. Love Aunt Chris
